Automated movement across the pipe rack
The powered rack replaces repeated manual rolling of tubing on conventional rig-site racks. Two or three coordinated bridge sections form the rack system, and hydraulic cylinders adjust beam angle to move tubulars toward or away from the catwalk.
Configured for drilling or workover
Dimensions, number of sections, load rating, controls and the interface with the catwalk are defined for the site layout and tubular program.
Key features
- Reduces manual rolling of tubing
- Hydraulic beam-angle adjustment
